Sport Agent A Semi-Finalist In William Malcolm Luxe Collection Man Of Style Contest

The 2009 William Malcolm Man of Style Contest is underway and Sports Agent Nate McCray, CEO of Dynasty Sports Management has been selected to participate in the contest of the William Malcolm Luxe Collection, brought to you by William Malcolm in an effort to deliver a positive message for the community service event.

The 37 year-old McCray has been selected as one of 25 semi-finalist out of 300 entrees for the event which will drive home the significance of humanitarianism, community involvement and style. The gala, which will take place at the Whitney Mansion in Detroit, Michigan on November 12, 2009 will highlight art, fashion and of course substance and as the voting process continues, McCray will await to see if he will be one of 5 finalist at the event. JEAN-CHARLES DE CASTELBAJAC HONORED IN CYPRUS WITH HARPER”S BAZAAR LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD

London, UK – The French superstar designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac was honored last night in Nicosia, Cyprus with the first ever LifeTime Achievement Award presented by magazine Harper’s Bazaar Cyprus.

The award was presented at a lavish VIP replete ceremony attended by celebrities, socialites, diplomats, international press and buyers. Taking place at the famed Fumagasta Gate in Nicosia, the event officially opened the 4 th edition of the Cyprus Fashion Week and its presentation of the Spring/Summer 2010 collections by the members of the Cyprus Fashion Designers Association and guest designers. With London’s Fashion Week already a memory there is a good argument for capturing that memory in film imagery that will outlast the fashion and provide a longterm investment.

Jocelyn Phillips, Head of Bonhams Photography Department says: “This London Fashion Week the designer frocks were out in force.  From Farhi to Westwood, McQueen to Williamson, six days of non-stop shows saw hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of cloth creation sashaying down the catwalks of WC2.  How many of those masterpieces were made to be worn and how many simply to be looked at?  And at what price?  As the paparazzi click away, sometimes catching no more than a blur of the original, it is worth remembering that there is another fashion experience – static, but every bit as alive – running alongside the catwalks.”  Read more
