SideRACK.net – Launches their online clothing website

December 26, 2009 by admin

On December 4, 2009 sideRACK.net was launched, a new concept online retail store offering sales, rentals, and custom orders on designer products.

Cristina Montesinos, the creator of sideRACK.net, came up with this non-traditional concept in (as a) result of how the recession had affected her career and her closet. Months earlier, prior to sideRACK’s launch, she had been laid off from her position as a Designer at a small Fashion firm due to the company’s closing. After this great misfortune, she found herself in a position of uncertainty, the only thing she knew for sure was that she loved to work and purchase from young designer fashion brands, and that was the sector that was being hit the hardest in the current recession.

As a result sideRACK.net was created and has focused on bringing great new clothes to the masses by introducing alternative ways of wearing/purchasing clothing, by offering rental and custom orders. SideRACK is focused in on small designers/labels, who are struggling to make their dreams a reality. To help sales in this sector, sideRACK proposes two new options, other than the typical selling of merchandise, in the hopes of bring new customers into the Young Designer bracket and tossing the notion that great clothes are only accessible to big incomes.

“Nowadays, people are paying close attention to every dollar spent. By offering rentals, custom orders and the traditional sales of a garment, we are giving every woman the chance to look their best, no matter how much they have in their checkbook,” says Cristina Montesinos.

SideRACK.net offers a place for independent designers to gain exposure on a larger spectrum. Not only are they on the World Wide Web, where individuals can have access to their items from anywhere, at anytime; they are now being introduced to potential customers who may have not been able to afford their products previously.

“Cristina appreciates that her site, not only helps customers at various income levels, but she believes sideRACK.net serves as a valuable resource for young independent designers. As a designer herself, she wishes to meet the needs of those featured on her site by working with each designer individually. For a company evolving with the economic times, this is truly a site worth watching,” says Colin McDonald – Fashion Blogger/Stylist, http://www.egoctm.com.
