New Video Website Offers Delish Juice and Smoothie Recipes to Shape-Up for Summer

When Oakland based publishing company Boomify first had the idea of creating a website with high quality juice and smoothie recipes, they had no idea it would take nearly a year to bring their vision to life. With the help of an Emmy-nominated and award winning production team, the retro style, yet cutting edge website BlendedRecipes.comis finally ready to be released to the public.

“When we first came up with the idea for a video website comprised exclusively of juice and smoothie recipes, I was immersed in an early season of MAD MEN. I was amazed at how well the producers framed Don Draper and his Madison Avenue ad men against a backdrop of the late 1950s, and later, the early 1960s. We figured swapping cigarettes and scotch for delicious plant based wellness drinks would be a hit,” says Avi Brown, one of the creative minds behind the website.

BlendedRecipes.com features gorgeous women in 1950s pin-up style fashion, serving up daily doses of their favorite quick and easy juice and smoothie recipes. Users can rate, share and comment on the videos. In addition the website offers a search feature for finding recipes based upon the ingredients users already have in their kitchens. Each video recipe includes a printable recipe card, detailed nutrition facts, and interesting tidbits about some of the ingredients. Who knew that consuming cherries in the right dose before bed could lead to lucid dreams?
