From 20-22 October 2012, Digital Fashion Week Singapore will showcase collections by homegrown fashion designers alongside internationally renowned designers to viewers around the world via a live stream. Viewers can catch the fashion shows in real-time on the official Digital Fashion Week website or on DFW Youtube, Google+ and even on an iPhone app.
What’s more, as exciting collections are unveiled, runway pieces become immediately available online for purchase. Viewers around the world will be able to order online via ZALORA Singapore, the official e-commerce partner of Digital Fashion Week. ZALORA Singapore is Singapore’s largest online fashion retailer, carrying a wide range of local and international brands.
As collections debut, viewers who pre-order online before 30 November, will be the first to own fashion pieces before they are available in stores the middle of next year.
Celebrating the age of digital fashion, Digital Fashion Week offers global front row access to live fashion shows.
Fashion Week features big names in the fashion industry including fashion icon Patricia Field, and six of Singapore’s top fashion designer labels – Thomas Wee, Eugene Lin, Tze Goh, PAULINE.NING, -J-A-S-O-N- and OwnMuse. All of the local designers have won multiple awards and each brings their own unique style. PAULINE.NING, a graduate from LaSalle, is known for her fusion of contemporary styles and traditional craftsmanship. Thomas Wee, is famed for his perfectly tailored suits, pattern making skills and couture designer dresses. He will be presenting his first menswear collection during fashion week.
Expect to see stunning models as well, including Supermodel Andrej Pejic and Sophie Sumner. Serbian Australian Andrej Pejic has been making big waves in the fashion world as an androgynous model. He models both menswear and womenswear. Sweet-faced Sophie Sumner is the latest winner of America’s Next Top Model.
